Key
to Happiness
The image I found is an advertisement for
Red Bull energy drink. The ad is a can of red bull with arms, lifting weights.
The opening of the can is turned to the side, making it look like a mouth that
is smiling. There is an all white background and there are no words in the
image other than “Red Bull” on the can. The arms of the can are made of the
same aluminum material as the can. The feet and the weights are both made up of
the top of the can. This picture contains nothing but different parts of the
Red Bull can. The fact that there are no words or colors other than red, blue,
and silver, the color of the can, shows that the advertisement was made to
focus on the red bull and its effects. This advertisement is selling happiness,
not only is it selling happiness but the key to happiness, which is strength.
By drinking Red Bull, a person has the ability to become very strong which will
be the reason for their happiness.
The purpose of an energy drink is to energize
the person drinking it, both physically and emotionally. Energy drinks are
meant to improve your attitude and make your body feel better and stronger.
When a person has a energy, they tend to be very positive, and a positive
attitude makes you happy. The energy
given from Red Bull, will give you the power to exercise and enhance your
strength and the strength will make you happier. When I am feeling sluggish or
tired, I do not have the best attitude. With the right amount of energy and
power I would be happier.
Most drinks are made just to quench
thirst and also to taste good. Unlike sodas and water, red bull can actually
effect how you feel. It is especially appealing to athletes and people who are
very active. Athletes are active and always working out to perform better. Even
as an athlete who may work out constantly, it can be tiring to lift heavy
weights or run long distances. Red Bull would give that athlete the energy and
strength needed to exercise properly. A positive outcome would be a more fit
body or even performing better in a game. Both of these can cause people
happiness.
This drink is also appealing to business
workers. As a businesswoman or man, you are always busy, especially if you have
a high position at your workplace. Although they are not exercising, their job
still requires energy due to work overload and a busy schedule. If they don’t
have a proper amount of energy and strength they will not be able to get their
work done. If they drink the Red Bull, they’ll have the good amount of energy
to do what they have to do; this will leave them with the satisfaction of
meeting expectations and having accomplishments.
Strength is the key to happiness. A great
supply of strength will allow you to meet goals and also accomplish new things.
Without it, a person may not get their work done or even lose a sports game
because they were tired. This advertisement is selling the key to happiness,
strength through Red Bull. Red Bull gives you strength and the strength you
gain will be responsible for your happiness.
